It is the job of instructors to TEACH a student HOW to think, and to give them a balanced sense of history upon which to place their values. An educator would be overstepping his boundaries and abusing his position if he advocated a particular political agenda. This falls into no longer educating, but brainwashing. If the children decide that these values are important to them on their own, or through conversation with friends and family, so be it. But this is not the role of the educator!

AMEN!!!

Yes, and he's right on most of them. The ones that I am unsure of are new to me.

No

At school on Channel One, i have heard about:
Urge the Senate to Raise the Minimum Wage up to $7.25 Per Hour.

mmhmm...yes i have. not cool, teachers.

as those things are taught in school America goes further down the drain.

Leads to exactly what the liberals want, a society where everybody is the same in every regard and no one can think for themselves

...unfortunatly they still haven't learned that in a society like that everyone is in a poor state, but maybe they don't care because at least no one will be better off than them and can all be poor together.

Are you saying these things shouldn't be discussed in America? Things like rights or how government works. Probably should avoid current events or history too. I hope students study the part about McCarthyism

these things are what formed the great middle class in America.josh s above wants the majority of us to go back to the robber baron days,12 hour days , 6 days a week for the same pay as our 40 hr. week.it was good if you're the boss, exhaustive and crippling for workers. i say solidarity forever .
