HELP<<<<<Career Crisis :-(?

I have been attending post-secondary school after school for 6 years... and still dont know exactly what I want to do. I first began college in the nursing program, then I switched to business, then education now Im currently pursuing dental hygeine. I am finally more focused have stopped partying as much but still unsure about my major. I have even considered attending ultrasound diagnostics school. I am now suffering from a career crisis---Im tired of waisting all of this time in school but still unsure of what I realy want to do. I love helping others, charismatic--very bubbly, creative, problem solver, and very smart--but dont always like to think too hard. Someone Please Help Meeeeee. Thanks In Advance for all responses:-)

That ol' adage 'if you love what you do, you'll never have to work a day in your life' comes to mind. Perhaps you can try to visualize yourself working at a certain job, in a certain profession, at least 8 hours a day, 5 days a week for about 30 years to come and think about where you feel the most comfortable. If you enjoy cleaning and scaling people's teeth, taking dental x-rays, potentially dealing with those with gum disease and providing dental education, then perhaps dental hygiene is for you. I have heard, however, that the DH program is extremely intense with all of the anatomy of the head and neck that one must know and other information. If you would like to scan patients for various disorders and diseases (and I'm sure that it's much more complicated than that included physics ;) then perhaps look into attending school for ultrasound ('medical sonographers'). I'm not sure though if there is a great need for ultrasound tech's.

Farrah Gray, author of 'Reallionaire' and young male multi-millionaire suggests that when thinking about a career, to ask oneself this question: "What would I do for years and years to come and not have to get paid?" That makes perfect sense. If you do decide to go for ultrasound, please do Not enroll at one of those private expensive schools and instead at a community or state college and one that is accredited with the field.

For US colleges: www.utexas.edu/world/univ

For the US occupational outlook handbook: www.bls.gov/oco and search 'medical sonographer' or such.

I hear people in ultrasound techs make very good money. I can imagine you would do even better.
