If I want to become a nurse and I'm already enrolled in school, how should i go about switching my major? |
I'm currently enrolled in a 2 year school to get my associate of arts... I'm aware of the fact that 2 year schools offer a degree to become an LPN, but I feel as though it's too late to go back and start the program seeing as though I'm almost finished with my general education degree. I was wondering if I would be able to transfer to a 4 year college and be accepted into their nursing program without a nursing background? You might want to check with the 4 year schools that offers nursing degrees to see if you need any prerequisite courses to take at your current school. talk to your advisor. The people in Yahoo answers are not the proper place to ask this sort of question. You should go to your school and ask the administrators there. The rules are different depending on where you are. |
