Where can I find out about grants for nurses studying degrees etc?

I am dealing wirth education with Unison and looking at ways nurses can get grants or money off degree courses, thanks Steve

When I was nursing I did a part time degree and was awarded money from my department's training budget to cover part of the cost. It wasn't a guaranteed source of funding and had to be re-negotiated each year but the budget holder believed in supporting staff to further their education, then using those staff to provide in service training for the rest of the department.

Nurses can get a bursary, when applying to university or enquiring about a course they run they will supply all the info.

The answer is complicated. You may need to consult your dog and check whether it's paws are greasy
