Questions for an RN....calling ALL nurses =)?

-What level of education have you achieved?
-What are you specialized in?
-What is your job like?
-Are you happy you chose nursing over another proffesion?
-Why did you choose nursing?
-What do you do in a normal work day/night?
-What advice could you give to a prospective nursing student?
-If you are a parent, how has being a nurse helped or retracted from your ability to being a good parent?
-Any additional details you would like to add about being a nurse or nursing school?
-I'm planning on being an RN and have worked as a CNA for 9 months and I LOVE it, I feel nursing is my calling! Please help me to get an idea of what nursing is like from your perspective!

Thank you very much for your input. Also, thank you for all your hard work! I look foward to joining you someday =)

i would love to answer all those questions but don't have the time
I started in 1980 as a cna then in 1984 a CMA
and since 1992 a RN
all i can say is Welcome to the profession
and yes i think it is a calling that you seem to have
we can always use another great nurse
