Hello, i am after help on pricing my hafling gelding that will be getting sold at the end of this year!! :)?

'Araluen' is a 3 year old 14hh very solid haflinger gelding with paper's. He by far has THE BEST temprament of any horse i have ever come across, is currently doing trail riding and will be competing in pony club and shows this year. I would love to keep him as he is such a jem although at the end of this year i am planning on recieving an education in equine vet nursing so therefor need some money to get me started, i would like some ideas on what price i should put on him. i do not want to under price him but when the time comes i want to be able to sell him without any hassels as it will be the most heart breaking sale i have ever made in my life! :( please if anyone has any ideas please email me at jupiter_roxs@hotmail.com or post here. Thankyou Hannah

It depends on where you live. Check local ads or go to equine.com or dreamhorse.com to compare. You probably won't get what you want for him, or even what he is worth if you live in the united states, as there just isn't a demand for horses.

Good luck and make sure he gets to a good home!

where do you live???

if your here in the United States you probably wont get more thn $1500 out of him.... The horse market here is DEAD....

if your in some other country you could probaly get $2500-3500 out of him.

I told you already rosie, you can give him to me. Stop trying to sell him!! LOL give him a hug for me. I can't believe ur selling him :(:(

the horse market has totally tanked right now, however its a great time to be a buyer. Ive saw show winners and pure bloods being given away this winter . probably yours should fairly be a $2500 horse but right now you'll be lucky to get $1500 (very lucky).

It depends on where you live, but probably about 3k.
