I have the option on graduating with an associates degree and taking the nclex exam... if i pass i will start working as a nurse, or continue my education by going to a university and going for my bachelor's degree. does anyone know roughly around how many classes or years more i would have to take to earn a bachelor's degree if i would already have obtained an associates degree? 2 to 3 years depending on the load. If you are willing to give up sleep, maybe 1.5 yrs. 66 credits will get an associate degree or 2 year degree 120 credits will get a 4 year ( Bachelors Degree ). where I went to college ( Indiana University ) I went what they called the 2 - 1 - 2 course program. I took 2 classes in the Spring, 1 class in one of the Summer took the other Summer session off ( didn't matter which Summer session because of the courses offered ) and then 2 classes during the Fall sessions. This allowed me to work full time by working my work schedule around my school courses ( lucky to have a very understanding |
