Does anyone know some good colleges/universities that have great courses in communications/mass media in N.Y.C |
I plan to transfer out of my current college two years later in the future, because I want to major in visual communications/mass media; mostly in television broadcasting or journalism. Besides that, my second choice for my major is also animation as well. My current school is mostly known for great courses in education, nursing, and business. So evidently i want to transfer to a good school that will further enhance my major for a typical great career. Would anybody know some great universties out there for my major. Your personal experiences are greatly welcomed. Thank you for your time and help. Oh yeah i forgot, i would mostly prefer a school in N.Y.C since i just moved there recently, but anywhere near N.Y. is also fine i guess. Anyways thank you! Columbia and NYU are two of the best. nyu Whichever university you choose, do not forget about internships or even working in television. It is great part-time work while you earn your degree, and it provides opportunities and connections in this overlapping industry of film and television. Try reading these to see what I mean. |
