What kind of education do you need to be a drug sales rep like for a company like Merek?

I am currently in nursing and was wondering about this career

They hire undergrads with various backgrounds including business/marketing or those with some science background. But since they can teach you the science you'll need having a degree in chemistry isn't necessary.

In my country you need to be a Pharmacist ! Because you need to be able to explain the chemical composition of drugs, as well as the diseases, and how the drug works.
