Questions about about nursing school? |
I am in a BSN program right now and am working on my general education requirements. What exactly are the clinical classes like? What should I expect? I have absolutely no experience in the medical profession, and I tend to get really nervous doing new things, so I hope I can get a heads up on what to expect. Every nursing class will have some sort of clinical component (except pharmacology), even if it is only a laboratory experience. In these experiences, you will care for patients (generally one or two depending on what class) from head to toe, including treatments and medications (PO, IM, SQ and some IV). |
