What kind of education is needed in order to become a OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner?


I am in high school now and I want to know what I should pay very close attention to.

Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing followed by at least 1-2 years practice as a nurse, then you get into a Nurse Practitioner program which is another 2 years. Essentially a Master's degree. The other persons answer about Medical school is completely wrong.

OK, you will need improve your report card first and get your GPA average. There are many places does have a medical school in your local area. Depend on your area. This course have several listings that you want to be OB/GYN nurse. It's will take as least 4 years training. You can goes thru medicial school or university. And yes, you will pay the education at medicine school or universtiy.
