I am a single parent with two children. I put myself through nursing school and? |
graduated in 2003. I work as a critical care nurse. I took students when I was an undergraduate student and I also have parent plus loans for my son who is a junior in college. I have applied to go back to school next year. The track I would like to follow in graduate school does not allow for online education or I cannot work part time and go to school. I will be obligated to go to school full time which I am looking forward to. The problem is I live in CA but has been admitted to graduate school in PA. I am willing to relocate to PA and live there and go to school and if possible get a job and stay there. What is the possibility of getting financial aid for graduate school? Usually financial aid is not available to students in graduate school (from experience). Scholarships and loans are the only types of help available... besides work. I just finished paying-off my student loan after 10 years! I'm not expert, but doesn't financial aid come from the Federal Government? Or do you mean public assistance, like what some people call welfare? |
