What education do I need to have to become a nurse? |
I am going to start highschool and need to know what courses to take, in school and college. Since I will be the first person to graduate college, I am really confused. A vocational nurse (LPN) is only a year program, but the college will tell you if there are any classes you have take as 'prerequisites' for the course. It is strictly nursing classes towards the certificate. In my area, one of the colleges accepts anyone who passes the nurse entrance exam without taking any prerequisite courses. jsut grad. from high school and it would be most smart to go to a community college and get ur prereques. and then you can either transfer to a diff. college and get ur bachelors degree or u can jsut stay with an associates degree that you will get from a community college. |
