I need to know how is the "nursing sistem" in australia.?

i'm a portuguese nurse and I want to work in australia. I'm graduate in "helth education" and I don't know if that is important to a nurse in australia.

Nurses are in high demand in Australia. You may need to do a graduate course at university, that takes about 1-2 years. We also have Enrollred Nurse courses at TAFE (stands for technical and further education) which is only a year and be cross credited for it. You can also do a traineeship as an EN which means you get paid to learn at TAFE and can have work experience at the same time.

All types of nurses are in demand in Australia. Certainly my son has diabetes and we deal all the time with a 'health educator' who is obviously a respected member of the hospital community.

Check out nursing jobs on sites like www.seek.com.au, or contact just about any regional (not capital city) hospital. That's where the demand is.

Don't want to sound like I'm having a go at you but spelling/English is considered very important for nursing (so you can read notes from doctors who have no skills in that domain!). You may need a little work on that!
