Hello i'm a 40 years old vietnamese woman who just came from vietnam i want to have a job to help a nurse? |
what are the requirements? can i just apply to a community college even thought my english is very bad and just register for that class? or do i need to go to an english center to get some sort of english education then i can register for that course in a community college? i'm 40 years old am i too old for the job? i want to see if i can get straight into the community college and take that course even thought my english is very bad cause i just came here ps i dont want to work at mcdonald i want to earn good money Ch脿o c么, con c农ng h峄峜 ng脿nh y t谩 n锚n c农ng c贸 bi岷縯 m峄檛 ch煤t 铆t. Register for and English as a second language course at community college. Then, once you've got your English skills, apply for the associate's degree in nursing. You should also search the web for your State Board of Nursing to see about their licensure requirements. Forty is certainly not too old to be starting a new career. Many Americans are starting over at forty, so there's nothing to be ashamed of. Many students at the community colleges are middle-aged or older who are all starting new careers: so you will have plenty of people to relate to :-) |
