Nursing school on hold?

Both of my kids will be in school this year for the first time. I planned on going to school full time to get my nursing degree while they are now both in public education. I got scared and dropped all but an one class today. The idea of going full time scared me and I paniced. I want to be there for my kids and I understand that science classes can be really overwhelming. I was nervous to tell my family and I recieved mixed opinions when I did tell them, good and bad. I think my husband is dissapointed.
I am not completely dropping over nothing though. It is highly possible that my husband might get laid off this next month and we will have to be moving soon. I want to wait until we are certain we are not moving before I start such a heavy education. The thought of having to repeat these classes is terrible and the cost is very high too.
Question= Would you have done the same?

I understand, I think you should wait and see if you will be moving. But please don't be scared even if science class is a challenge I have the feelinng you will do grat. It is people who think they will walk it that have to worry. Try to work a few hours in a hospital say at the weekend or in an old folks home, you will learn a lot. Also read read read. Read up on medical terminology and biology etc. Then when you do manage to get to school full or part time it will nto be so overwhelming. You will do grat, there is plenty of time don't worry.

No. Get in and get it over with. I fear if you do this now you may not get around to doing it.
Do your kids a favor and get that nursing degree and start making excellent money.
Sacrifice now, be there later. They will need a lot of things later in school that a nursing profession could provide.

It is very admirable to conduct your decisions based on the best interest of your kids. Pray about it and see what God tells you to do. He and you are the one that can best make this decision. God bless.

You did the right thing. Maybe you can take some prerequisite courses at a community college if you are worried about money and having to move.
