What are the procedure done in becoming a RN nurse. What kind of education is needed and how long?

Becoming a nurse

Hmmmm depends on what kind of degree you're going for, Associate's, Bachelor's .......

I am currently working on becoming an RN with an associate's degree. I'm getting my prerequistes done right now, while waiting to get accepted into the actual nursing program where I start my clinicals. There are so many people applying for nursing right now that most colleges and universities have waiting lists!! If that's what you want to do, you should apply really soon.

I have 2 more classes to take and then I have to wait until I get into the clinicals part. While waiting, I'm going to be taking classes offered for the Bachelors of Nursing (BSN).

I hope you do well!!

I think it depends on which state you live in. Here is a nursing program from southern california. http://www.saddleback.edu/ap/hs/RN/

You have to have certain classes and so many credits. Than you can take the state exam. If you continue your education and get a Bachelors degree, I belive you can work in any state as an RN.
