Does the national debt effect any community positively .? |
Everyone is always talking about how printing money and taking loans is a bad thing and that the massive debt we have is bad . If you are not one of the chosen people that work for the government then you will be paying the wages of all those people who do work for the government . You know, people who work for the government get paid in a more valuable dollar than the rest of us. Of course... Yes it does, BEIJING. The only community benefiting from the National Debt is the bond trading community. It does in times of depression when market forces have failed. Unfortunately, market forces have been failing the U.S. economy for decades now and we can't kick the debt habit to make it right due to what you said, only a small number of people are benefiting from the profit streams and these people have bought our politicians. The rest of America is falling deeper and deeper in debt. Those invested in the FX market who were wise enough to buy Euros, or Canadian Dollars. If you had invested $10,000 on margin in Euros when they where first issused you would be very rich now. (150 euros equal 1 dollar)...and it is falling fast against other currencies as a result of US deficit spending. Get rid of these "conservative" Republicans and restore fiscal discipline and fiscal sanity. These bastards have plundered the country. I think you're getting your terms mixed up, or maybe I am. But 'debt' can refer to different things. What you're talking about is the perception that the government is spending more than they are bringing in and that's not true. In fact, as a result of the Republican tax cuts a number of years back, revenues are up and far in excess of government spending. In fact, there's a good chance that the budget, despite all of this spending, will be balanced in the next few years. What a stretch to make an argument. I'll try to tell my credit card companies that, Hey It's a good thing I owe you money other wise you may not have a job. Yes, It's a good thing the country is spending money to try to keep the economy afloat. Could you imigine how terrible it would be without all that money the government is spending. However evetually we will have to pay off that debt and it will likely be under a democratic president. Of course everyone will complain because the democratic President will have to cut military spending at a time of Peace in order to pay off the National Debt. |
