What level of education is necessary to get a nursing job? |
I'm diong a math project, and the theme is wealth. i really need help to answer this question. Generally, you need an associate degree in nursing, a bachelor's degree in nursing, or an advanced degree in nursing. An associate degree usually requires two years, a bachelor's degree requires four years, and an advanced degree at least one year beyond a bachelor's degree. The more training, the higher the pay and the greater level of responsibility that is possible. You can become an RN with an associates degree (ADN) which is a 2 year degree. To become an LPN it is approximately 18 months. Of course, you still need to pass the NCLEX RN or PN (licencing exam) in order to work. |
