Help!! Nursing or Early Childhood Education???? |
Ok, I am now a sophomore in college...I am lost. I am currently pursuing a nursing degree, but its not at all where my heart is. I have always wanted to be a teacher, I want to teach early childhood and then eventually I want to get my masters in special education. My problem is I am making the wrong decision not finishing nursing? Its not what I want but its where all the money is...HELP!! If you are a teacher please tell me the highs and lows of the career...would you go back and do it again?? I would go where your heart is. In twenty years your dream job will just be a job. Nursing is VERY stressful, 12 hour shifts, bad working conditions, nasty doctors and patients, and your feet always hurt, not to mention sore dry hands. If it's not what you want to do, it won't matter years down the road how much money you make doing nursing. If education is what you want to do for life, you should go with your gut. Even though I don't make a lot of money in education, it can be fulfilling none the less. You can always learn to budget your money, which is a good idea anyway. okay NURSING SCHOOL are total difference from EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION now why ? because they are difference look at this point of view here okay. |
