Help!! Nursing or Early Childhood Education????

Ok, I am now a sophomore in college...I am lost. I am currently pursuing a nursing degree, but its not at all where my heart is. I have always wanted to be a teacher, I want to teach early childhood and then eventually I want to get my masters in special education. My problem is I am making the wrong decision not finishing nursing? Its not what I want but its where all the money is...HELP!! If you are a teacher please tell me the highs and lows of the career...would you go back and do it again??

I would go where your heart is. In twenty years your dream job will just be a job. Nursing is VERY stressful, 12 hour shifts, bad working conditions, nasty doctors and patients, and your feet always hurt, not to mention sore dry hands.

Teaching is 8-5 hours. I would go be a teacher, Nursing is HARD work. Yeah the pay is good, but is it worth all the stress, NO!!!!

If it's not what you want to do, it won't matter years down the road how much money you make doing nursing. If education is what you want to do for life, you should go with your gut. Even though I don't make a lot of money in education, it can be fulfilling none the less. You can always learn to budget your money, which is a good idea anyway.

okay NURSING SCHOOL are total difference from EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION now why ? because they are difference look at this point of view here okay.
1). Nursing are great demand now because you can do alot in several work habit now, if you like to taken care of patient you will be cerfitcate Nursing Assitance that will be asign to 5 to 12 patient a day, it vary okay, giving bath, fedding, dressing, bathing, temperture okay,

there are so many field that you can go into nursing it total up to you oaky.

Now EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION.
this is difference brand here because you are totalty working with children from age group 0-to 5 year old now, also keep this in mind after school care also in this, dealing with parent child that go to your company make sure the place are clean and quality staff member that can do the care for children, you will handler the problem dealing with infant to newborn baby make the company are clean alot ,of snuff to do when it come to early childhood education, reading to kid, make sure that they have food to feed them, the made thing are please sure your place are current with code they will come see have the place are run is safe for kids, they will also check for cleaning, kitchen area, bathroon, there so be NO DIRTY DRAPER laying Around there, cleaning surprise use be keep in safe palce so the kids can don't reach them with so ever. good-luck with your choice.
it up to you what you want to do make the right choice,
