Collegitis Advice? |
I'm having a tough time going towards my bachelor's online, I live in a rural area and cannot afford to move, I have 2 community colleges near & really don't know what I want out of my education. I have 60 hours of junior college credit under me, I didn't pass college algebra thereby not getting my A.A in general studies. I am really tired of college and the pressure and working and the pressure of the real world. I guess after trying really hard in algebra and failing put me in a tailspin(by the way I have good grades before then a 3.6 GPA). I wouldn't mind going back and getting a specialized A.A for 20 hours or so, rather than going for 60 more hours and still not have a job. I'm very confused and tired of the whole ordeal. I just don't know if I am truly "college" material, and that doesn't bother me, wasting time does. Any advice? You know, not everyone is college material, particularly if you are young. It is OK to get your AA or technical degree in something, get a job and work for awhile. Maybe later you will go back and finish your bachelor's. However, you need to realize that it is much harder to go back and finish when you are A) older, B) have a family, and C) might have to work full time as well. |
