Does anyone know if there are programs to help me pay for my nursing education? Here is a web site where you can find information and more on scholarships for people with a nursing major. The general FAFSA program gives federal aid for college students. Call the school where you plan on going. They have a financial advisor who can guide you through all the steps. whats ur location and then we can know more about what area and course help is available 4 u, Apply for a scholarship Make an appointment with your school counselling office. This is always a good place to start. Ask questions to any and everybody! Check with your local Rotary, Moose, Elk, Masonic, etc. clubs. Area hospitals always have a foundation or a guild that give scholarships to nursing students, even if you are only in prerequisites. You should look into a higher nursing degree as in LPN or RN status = more money and for LPN courses its 18 months and you make loads of cash, with RN up to 4 years depending on where you are doing... It seems to me that mass nsg. education, would take a lot of the "personal" element out of it. With a larger number of students, obviously instructors will have to spend less time with e... RN is a license from the state that allows you to be a nurse. You can take the RN exam with an associates, hospital diploma, bachelor's or master's. RN is not a degree - it is only the ... for 2 points to answer it and possibly 10 point if pick? nah thats too much work for so little points. ...i think i would go for the education...there will always be a demand for teaching at any grade...kids need to be mentored at all levels, plus its a great feeling to know that you are putting a last... I'm no nursing student but I do know that nursing courses in Iloilo are best from St. Paul's and Iloilo Doctors College. The fact that these schools have their hospitals maybe a factor as... nursing has to be just as competitive everywhere. Nursing is a medical standard where they can't make it easier at one school than another. It is a very tough program...so don't kid yours... my sisters a nurse, so i say the answer is ; a cast iron stomach and brass balls. its not a field for the meek & mild...not from what i've seen. gotta be one strong (mental and physical... |
