Lots of mental health questions in one?

can a public high school deny you your right to an education if they want you to see be checked into a mh hospital and you don't? can a teacher, nurse, princapal, anyone over 18 really sign a mental health warrant and have you put in for 72 hours of observation? a school advisor treatened me that if i didn't go they would do that.
what are mh like?
how do I tell my parents before the school calls them so they won't freak out and do spells for me(they area Faery Wicca and I am searching)?
if I play sick and answer the phone and pretend to be my mom what should I tell the school so they don't require me to "get help" before returning to school? Does saying it's against my religion work?
how do I stop cutting? the thoughts and actions consume most of my day.
how do i stop intrusive thoughts and keep myself from screaming when I see things from the past and recent happenind before my eyes? (flashbacks maybe? i don't know how else to describe them)
thanks for any answers

They aren't denying you a right to education they are saying that you cannot be educated without mental health treatment. So yes they can and yes anyone over the age of 18 can sign a mental health warrant. However just because they sign it does not mean a judge will as well. Also unless you are 18 this is all pointless because only a parent or guardian can sign you into a mh facility. Unless of course you seriously tick off the school they call child protective services and they can take you into states custody and sign you over or they could force a judge to override your parents by saying they are neglecting your education and mental health. They can check you in as long as you meet one of the following criteria: you are a danger to yourself or you are a danger to others. You could play games with them but it's a dangerous one b/c if they get the state (i.e. CPS) involved you and your family will get put through the ringer. The whole religous rights thing will work if you all can afford a lawyer to fight for you in court.
It sounds like you are admitting to problems but just don't want to go to a hospital?? Cutting is an addiction most people can't just stop. You have to find better coping skills, ecspecially if you are having intrusive thoughts. Face it you need help if you are in too deep with this you need to own up.

I think it is time for you to change schools and contact a doctor. You are being bullied or need help. Treats are no way to help

quit cutting
or there taking you away for a little while

these are questions for the pro's
mental health in your local area and possible a lawyer

seek legal help, talk to some lwawyers, share your problem in any hotline, and continue the wicca for any advantages

A school can make you 'drop out' for any reason. You can go to court about it but probably they will win.

Same goes for the 'forced' treatment. If you refuse they can only kick you out. Your choice.

On the Wiccan bit. Find a good Wicca and make her take away your eye. You obviously can not handle it. What ever made you experiment with that if you knew so little about it? Tisk, tisk.

Don't stress about what your parents may think. They probably already know. TALK TO THEM!!!

you need the help of a Dr. please see one

ok. You need to get a therapist and tell him/her all these concerns. They will be able to help a lot more than some rendom people on Yahoo Answers. Seriously for your sake see a therapist, good luck with with everything!!!! I hope this helps.

take a deep breath clear you head. You have taken a big step in getting over this hurdle in life I am proud of for doing just that. Take a different approach if for example you are really mentally ill then you most likely will become worse the longer you run. My advise is get cognitive therapy that is getting better just by talking to someone ( a Professional ) and try to avoid all kinds of drugs they have a lot of side affects.

you are dealing with alot of issues in your life just from the few things you have said it sounds like you need some help, you can find help thru your mental health clinic in your town. you seem more scared of getting the help you need it sounds like you have alot of concerned people out there get the help you will feel alot better about yourself.

Schools can suggest things but they can not force you to do it. They can say they do not want you in school until you get help. I suggest talking first to your parents, then see a counsler, and eventually someone that may be able to help you with your gift.
