We are thinking of emigrating, can anyone tell us how much it would cost.? |
We are 42 years old with grown up children, we have a 16 year old who would come with us. One of us is a qualified nurse and the other a driver, how easy or hard would it be to find work. What are the conditions in the hospitals like and are there many of them. We dont know where to look we are thinking of australia but are unsure if we would be any better off than in England (finincially). The other choice would be New Zealand can anyone help us please as much information regarding best places to live ect and the cost of living will be much appreciated thanks. You'll have some research to do to compare countries, but these sites will give you ALL the info you need. You could do everything yourself instead of going through an agent also. Good Luck with it all, I've lived in NZ and Australia.

In Australia, conditions vary from state to state. At the moment Western Australia is having a mining boom and if you contact some of the mining companies they should have work at one of the mining communities. You would find it a big cultural change but the pay is great and the mining company provides subsidised housing. After a few years you will have a better idea of where in Australia you'd like to live and the money to do what you want. you have to qualify to immigrate to australia and at times it isnt easy It is very hard but if your strong enough go for it. You can go on skilled visa using the nursing profession. There may be age restrictions, you should check. Try visiting some websites that do free points assessment. Google and type australia house, thats a start. As for money be sure to expect to pay for what you want. Its a long haul but worth it if thats where you want to be. |
