Dizzyness?? Anyone ??

I am just wondering, I have never felt this problem before in my life.
For the past 3 weeks I have been feeling terribly dizzy and somewhat fatigued. Lately I have noticed that even when I wake up I feel dizzy, even after I eat I feel dizzy or i feel dizzy without a reason even just standing up.

I did go to the doctor a few days ago for a cold which did not turn out to be a flu or anything. The nurse told me my blood pressure was lower than normal 90/49. I did get a pregnancy test but it was negative, the day they took it was the 1st day of my missed period. I am 4 days late on my period but I don't think pregnancy is an issue here... its a slim chance. But I am concerned with this since I never had this problem before and its been too long. Please if anyone has had similar experience or information let me know, as the web isnt turning up much information for me. Please respectful and serious answers ... thank you

Is it vertigo? I had that before. It is not nice.

Go back to the doctor. A common cause for this is an inner-ear infection - perhaps a secondary infection from your cold.

Could be poor circulation... I feel like that on warmer days.. my g/f says its because I'm so hot headed: LOL.
Seriously I would go back and have your doc run some more tests... I didn't ... but I'm stubborn... If it aint broke dont fix it.
Seems like you get it more often then I do.
If you do find out what it is let me know.

It could be a ton of things. Pregnancy is a concern if you are late on your period, but 4 days isn't enough to really start feeling that way. You may be showing signs of diabetes or even low blood iron (anemia) so whatever you do just try to monitor your blood sugar, I hope that that helps! You also may want to go to the doctor and ask them if they know what could be causing it.

You may be anaemic. This when you have low blood like you expained in your question. Or when you eating too much fatty food. Try drinking whole milk and eat as much proteinous food as you can. Meaning fish, brown eggs, beans...

I hope this helps

I have had the same thing happen to me, the fact your blood pressure is lower then normal, could play a huge part in your dizziness, theres also a condition called Vertigo, I get that quite often....But recently I was dizzy for 2 weeks straight, and totally stressing out about "maybe" being pregnant, I had 2 blood test which where Negative....but it still didnt put my mind at ease...Your mind can play crazy tricks on you....Its been over a month now. I now know and realize theres NOOO way i could be preg, and the Dizziness has subsided.. My Dr. told me it was all Anxiety...

But if i was you you might want to make an appt with and ENT(ears nose & throat) Dr....have your inner ears checked out..

Hope you feel better, I took hot baths, and would have to lie down and take in deep breathes for like 5 min to regain my thought and to function, b/c my dizziness was so bad...
