Too fat for Depo-Provera? |
My sister is overweight and gets Depo injections. Her weight has not increased with the Depo, but the horrible nurse she sees to give her the injections told her if she DOES gain weight, they might not be able to give her injections anymore as there are weight restrictions. how heavy is she? height/weight? I used depo at 21 stone ...............................and also the inplant. i dont think there are weight restrictions in having the injection but i believe that the more overweight you are the less effective it becomes which is y the nurse probably said that. but i do think she could have explained it better and not been so harsh!x |
