I really want to become a nurse but I have no idea where to start. I don't know anyone in the field.? |
I live in ny. Can someone please give me information on programs, and what the different classes of nurses are and how to get it. Thanks in advance. . Get a job in a hospital or nursing home, even if it's cleaning bed-pans or sweeping the floors. See what it's all about. Check with some colleges around you and see if they offer that degree. Then go through the steps they require to get there, just call the number in the classifieds in the paper, there are always a million ads for shcools, training, jobs, etc for nursing. Also there's alot of TV commercials, web sites, magazine ads, etc. LPN-Licensed Practical Nurse. 1 yr Diploma Program |
