I am currently taking my pre-requisites for the nursing program. I would like to get a head start on?

preparing for the NAT test. Can anyone that has ALREADY taken the test give me any advice on how to prepare? Any books that I can purchase that will prepare me? I don't want a book that goes overboard with information that won't be on the test. Thank you very much.

I am currently in a nursing program. The only thing I can tell you to prepare yourself for is math. Dosage calculations, conversions, abbriviations, etc. Our R.N. program stresses math skills so heavily. Hope this helps and good luck.

You are not NEAR ready for it until you get into nursing school. You are going to do fine if you concentrate on each task and year at at time.

I'm not in any type of nursing program but I do have a recommendation for you. I once went to Barnes and Noble in search for a book about getting into veterinary school, and they had tons of books on various tests. You could try going there and searching around or looking around on amazon. I'm sure there will be some type of book that can help you with the NAT test. Hopefully not one with way too much information, but I'm sure there will be options for you to choose from.

i believe they have on called NFLEX? my wife used it for her board certs and it worked well for her, they have smaple tests on disc that simulate the test questions and the method used to take them (PC)
