Looking for info about nursing moms who've tried weight watchers?

HI - I have to lose weight (medical reasons) and I'm nursing. The only diet that I came seem to fnid that people find acceptable is weight watchers, so just looking for feedback form nursing moms who have tried it. Also - do you have any idea why they don't let you join online and make you come to the meetings?

I know some women lose while nursing, but I don't seem to be one of them. And I lost the initial preg weight during birth - my whole preg I only gained 15 lbs - which is low but I'm overweight to start - so yes according to docs that is perfectly healthy.

Hello, I've done that program while nursing and it works.The program allows nursing moms additional points, which worked very well for me as I felt as though I could pretty much eat anything I wanted. The key is to journal everything you eat. I just had my second child, and already pulled out all my books to get back on track. Good Luck!

You should be losing weight while nursing. Talk to your doctor before you begin any weight loss program, especially when nursing.
