What was your worst job ever? What do you do now?

I think that the worse job I have ever done up until this point is working as a bar back in a pizza shop. The pay sucked and the people were often rude. The tips were Ok on friday and saturday. I am in the medical field now. Close to becoming a nurse. The people are more friendly and the pay is a whole lot better.

Worst job ever. Well anything retail but beyond that working at a shoe store. Seriously all you do all day is straighten shoes and help people get things down. Let me tell you I didnt last 2 weeks. Now I work for a hotel and I love it.

Working at pizza hut!! It totally sucked.. The job I have now.. also sucks.. but not as bad as pizza hut sadly I made more at pizza hut through tips.. lol.. I'm a CNA..

Working at Dairy Queen in high school, it was so embarrasing and kids made fun of me in our snobby little town. But I have the last laugh cause I'm in medical school and most of them are still stuck in that same place going nowhere.

I can't say that I ever hated any job I have had. I was a waitress in high school and through college at a local retaurant. I enjoyed it. Now I manage a golf pro shop at a new exclusive course/development.

My worst job was being a "house parent" at a group home for 15 adolescent boys. They were always fighting and trying to sneak around. Now I am a mental health therapist at a hospital. Still a hard job but so much better than the group home.

a sandwich shop the boss and other employees really had a stick up their azz

now i am a housekeeper own business and make my own hours weekends off (which if youv'e ever had a minimum wage job u know means something) and make pretty good money... plus since i share the job w/ my husband i get part time and someone is always home with the kids

I think I've held every job under the sun, from fast food to military service to lobbying state government to judge to being a university prof.

The best job ever was either teaching 6th grade or one summer in college when I worked at a summer camp. Both jobs were a blast because I love children and I love to help kids out whenever I can.

The worst job I ever had was during my high school years when I worked for a major fast food place. The manager always yelled at us, I hated the uniform, and my pay was always getting messed up. I kept getting called in to work on my days off, and sent home early on the days I could work. Man was I relieved to get out of there!

What I've discovered is to hang in there, things will get better even if it means getting a different job. My job now is great, it's just very busy and can be stressful. I've come a long ways since those darn burgers!

Best of luck to you. Great question!

my worst job...a 7-11. i worked from 2-10 and i always got all the after school kids (boys) trying to flirt with me and people making up stories about how they left theiur wallet at home and if i let then get gas they would be right back.....
now i am a corporate travel agent and i love it

Working at Baskin-Robbins because the pay was low, rude customers, worst boss in the world and robbed at gunpoint. I am a temp now because all I qualify for is clerical work. still on waiting list for a position that would come in that wants to hire someone who performs datra entry, general office clerk. The pay ranges vary, but at least I am working my 40 hr. (one day long term)
