Try to find a high paying job or take what you can get? |
One of the problems I had with my ex was over how much I got paid. She was a nurse making 26 an hour, plus teaches on the side for another 38 an hour. I made 11.40 an hour as a Shipping clerk for a Ford dealership. Once the dealership got bought out I was out of a job. She told me I had to get a job that made as much as her because she wanted to stay at home with the kids. I told her with all of our bills there is no way in hell. When I first met her I worked at Target making 8.40 hour and she didn't care. Should I have gotten that high paying job, or should I stay with what I can do and satistfied doing? She sounds like a pretenious b*tch and a money wh*re. Dump her a$$ because the only word that you'll be familiar with in the future will be DEBT. She'll stay home and care for the kids along with racking up the credit card. So you can get a high paying job but you have decided to take a low mininum wage job? It seems you lack ambition, and she should decide if either she wants to work and support you while you take care of the kids, or if she needs to find someone with a little bit more ambition. Something is better than nothing. That's up to you. Money unfortunately, is usually a big issue in relationships and the lack thereof probably the number one reason for breakups. If you make all of your life decisions for someone else.....You will resent them in the end for it....You have to make yourself happy first! You should work a job that not only pays for the necessities in life like food rent and medical, but also makes you happy. Tell your wife that if she's going to be so greedy and wants to quit her job to sit on her *** at home while you foot the bills...Dream on hooker...she didn't complain about it before so why change things now? I make more than my husband also... I would like to stay at home with the children we plan to have.... But I am willing to work while my husband stays home.... If I have to.Sometimes its hard to find a good paying job esp if you don't have a college education. You do the best you can.... that is all you can do....maybe you should try to get a college education...it might help you find a good paying job.In my opinion if you're happy doing what your doing keep at it. |
