I need a dental job?

i live in telford , shropshire and my position as a dental nurse as become redundant , due to dentist leaving . finding it hard to find a dental job. need help.
i might even have to get a different job for a while . help please

only thing is , i passed the dental exam last year and in order to get my certificate have to do another three months chairside . cause i might not get a dental job will this effect this

Oh dont give up on being an aspirating beauty, we need you!
Try getting some letters typed up on your computer and send them out along with your current CV to as many dental practises as possible, really sell yourself to these practises!
If that fails why not try signing on with an agency, not ideal but at least you will still be getting a regular wage and keeping your hand in a job you obviously seem to enjoy!
Shame you dont live in London, one of my nurses has left and we need a new one!
Good luck and dont give up mate, you'll find something.

No doing another 3 months chairside wont effect you getting another job in this field, just explain to any future employers that you have taken the exam and passed, but have to wait 3 months for your certificate to come through.
Once you do the 3 months you are allowed to call yourself qualified!

Monster.com is a good site for jobs and Fish4...

Find something you can get your teeth into!

phone the local hospital and ask to speak to HR - most generals have an orthodontic dept and you could even 'bank' at first to see if you like it. Failing that how about HCA work on an orthodontic ward?
Edit - definitely ask at your local hospital then.

also try calling around in your area many offices dont put out want ads or advertise that they need help.. some its word of mouth other places they may have not put an ad in the paper yet...i got my job by looking in the phonebook and calling place asking if they were looking for a dental assistant...it does work, i felt a little weird about it at first...but hey they dont know who you are and many would appreciate that you take the time to call and ask...good luck:)
