Nurses out there: Do you get a lot of exercise on the job? |
Do you feel very active etc. I mean if you weren't a nurse do you think you'd weigh heavier? Its a different type of exercise yes you are on the go alot,and at times it seems you never get a chance to sit,but their is the stress factor this drains a lot of energy,so after a busy 12 hour shift you are more then ready to go home and just rest,it can be very demanding physically and mentally work IM not a nurse but I work with a group of wonderfull compassionate ladys and I have nothing but high praise and love for their work. it's defineatly not a sedentary job, but if you haven't noticed, there is no shortage of fat nurses. : ) no, im a nurse and i actually gained weight. Its cuz alot of the people that prescribe the pills to us buy us lunch all the time so it makes u wanna eat. How many fat nurses do you see? I wouldn't know. it really depends on what you eat and how active you are outside of your medical life IE dr,nurse, It also depends on your genes. |
