Does Vet Nursing involve a lot of knowledge about science? |
I am looking to become a Vet Nurse and was wondering if you have to be good at science- is it involved with the job a lot? yes Apply at your local vet and get some experience. If you go to school, yes you will have to take a few science courses. Day to day working, not much science in applied, mainly it's on the job knowledge. However, most vet techs don't go to school. Most of them work their way up, as I did and still make the same amount a registered tech would make. If you start working and get experience, there may be some vets that will help you out with tuition if you later decide to go to school. You may have to start in kennel, but show your interest and you can work your way up fast. |
