Job injury?

Got hurt on the job 8 yrs ago 2 surgeries Hurting real bad severly I am a nurse and know I need another surgery Can hardly function Have plenty of medication without relief Surgeon refusing to see me after MRI results 5/14/07 Live in San Angelo,TX Need to find another WC surgeon Hurt in local Hospital SMC Have pain management Dr trying to refer me to someone else who will help me Who can help me or do I need to get an attorney Can't stand my severe pain any longer Need help desperately Very depressed and bedridden 90% of the time Lost my job home car Now considered disabled Please someone help me

If you have filed the workers comp claim, which you should have done at the time, you can see any doctor you wish, not someone they refer. You know you are going to have to travel to find someone else. It is not far to Midland/Odessa, you could even come as far as Dallas/Ft.Worth. Yes you can find a workers comp lawyer who specializing in these cases.

I take from your story that you did file a worker's compensation claim for your injury. In NJ you can re-open a workers' compensation claim every 2 years and you do state that you have an attorney and if you are not satisfied, find another attorney, you would not have to pay any subsequent attorney any more than what would be allotted by the compensation court. As far as the severe pain, I will surmise that you have health insurance, find a doctor that will treat you, if it is part of the compensation case, ***** to your attorney until he gets up off is behind and does a motion to have you receive immediate medical attention, or you can contact the compensation insurance carrier yourself to ask for certification and/or permission to see another physician. Also ask to see a psychiatrist for the depression and have your attorney also attribute this to your sustained injuries. Don't get depressed, get your health together and then enjoy your disability.
