Best place to work as a nurse in Australia?

Im looking to get a nursing job in australia, any nurses/hospital staff out there who could reccommend a good hospital or area to work in?

The Prince of Wales Hospital in Randwick has a big ex-pat community. It's in a suburb of Sydney, very near the beach and is a nice area to live. You are maybe 20 minutes from the city centre, and near shops, restaurants, bars, a cinema and a racecourse among other things.

The on-site nursing quarters are a bit grotty but super cheap (like 拢20 per week) so you can live in while you find an apartment, of which there are lots locally.

Id say hospital, Adelaide Central

Perth

any of major cities, perth, sydney, brisbane

YABBA YABBA,beers crap ..

You should look at outback australia being the Northern Territory and Western Australia. The variety of nursing oportunities and work roles makes it very interesting and challenging. Nurses are really given the oportunity to participate in different roles that in the larger hospitals restrict you.

you should look at nursing jobs in regional Australia, rather than within the big cities like Sydney, Melbourne and Adelide....

why not try Far North Queensland, the Top End or somewhere in Western Australia...

i know that there is a nurse shortage in Australia so I think that if you apply for a skilled working visa you should get it with no problem. i know that lots of hospitals recruit nurses from overseas because there are not enough in Australia at the moment, something about a lack of places at universities to train them...

Hey there

We have a lot of interest in overseas Nurses here in Melbourne. They seem to go to The Northern Hospital in the suburb of Epping or The Austin Hospital in the suburb of Heidelberg.

I know these hospitals very well as I spent lots of time there when my parents were terminal.

I will attach a link for you and hope that this proves to be of some benefit.

Love and joy
