Which job is more secure in the US: Resident Nurse or Dental Hygienist?

Demand for nurses (and pay) has gone way up in the last 10 years and is only going to increase more for the forseeable future. I'm sure dental hygeine is ok, but nursing is definitely a hotter prospect.

Resident or registered nurse? You need to tell me what that means. Resident Nurse? Do you mean a Licensed Vocational Nurse? An LVN?

The baby boomers are starting to get older and ill. Most of them won't have their teeth in the next ten and twenty years. As far as market wants? Look at being a registered nurse. They make the best money.

Baby "BOOMERS" There is going to be boatlaods of older people who won't need teeth, but healthcare, ie registered nurses, residential nurses here are called home health care nurses or certified nurses assistants. CNA's, Home health care nurses and dental hygenists don't make near the money that a registered nurse does. Registered nurses have a lot more schooling to complete also than the others.

Registered nurse has more career options.

I would say a nurse because there are always job openings for them.

an RN. no dearth of jobs for them and also very good pay.
