To be a Nurse do u think it is a cool job?

To be a Nurse do u think it is a cool job?

I am a Nurse, an L.P.N., and while it may not be the most glamourous job, it is one of the most worthwhile professions. I personally think it's pretty cool - I'm a male nurse in a female-dominated job market, which makes me a commodity in demand. And I participate in medieval recreation such as the SCA, so I am a Chiurgeon as well, which is basically a field medic in case someone gets hurt.

Cool? No...challenging...yes. Oh and depending on the nurse it can be sexy.

yeah espeshially because of the high demand

Oh yes, if you can make it through school, you'll be very cool!

Yes I do, I always wanted to be a Nurse, if you are thinking about it, go for it! : )

It is a cool job and pays good.

Yes, I think it is a cool job. Not only that, but they make an excellent salary. They are in high demand and the trend will continue as the Baby Boomers grow older and need nursing care.

im gonna be one in a few years

Yes, it takes a special person to be a good nurse,

I spoke to a woman who had just graduated from nursing school. She was very disappointed. She took up nursing because she wanted to help others.

Once she started working as a nurse she didn't like what she saw. People who needed care. Were not being cared for because they didn't have insurance or the insurance didn't cover what they needed.

She said had she been aware of this. She would have studied something else. To her way of thinking. She wanted to help those that needed help. Not just the ones that could afford it.

Agh, I don't mean to sound rude, but all my aunt's were/are nurses, and they're frumpy people. So all my life, I have associated the 'nurse' profession with this. So no, I don't think it's "cool."
