Attention NURSES! What's the worst part of your job?

Attention NURSES! What's the worst part of your job?

i think when people dont recognize your importance as a nurse even though you've given so much of your care, and treated them as human still they won't even mind to say thank you. its our responsibility to do the morning care, the hygiene of our patients, and their life also depends on how we take care of them, i think the word worst is not applicable because before we have our job we already take our pledge that we do our job well and we dont bring harm, its like taking care of our selves.

cleaning feces

cleaning up poop and giving showers. sometimes preparing dead bodies.

losing a patient

Seeing the loved ones that are left behind after the death of the patient , in my view that is the most gruelling part of the job , all you want to do is hug them and tell them all will be ok, and even if you were legally allowed to hug them , you could never bring them back and thus things for those souls will never be the same , in my view i find this the most heart wrenching part of the job.

The disrespect that you encounter from patients and your peers.
the fact that we are not appreciated and the doctors get all the credit when the nurses do all the work.
