Is there any good jobs in the medical field other than nursing and a dr.? The medical field is full of opportunities. Look at your local hospital's website for careers. A lot of hospitals will reimburse you for your education. Paramedic, Nursing home director, School nurse, nurse practitioner, phlabotomist (blood donor clinics and such), EMT, physiotherapist... Im sure you can find a few more too. DUDE! Radiology! My uncle is a tech something or other in that department. He makes bank! The key to the medical field is continued education. Don't stop with your first degree/certification. Get the 1st one, work and pay attention to the needs of the industry and then go back for the next one. And so one... Anything that pays well, takes at LEAST 2 years of college. What if the people will boycott that industry? XRAY tech/s sooo many!! techs, social worker, psyc, nutrition, lab worker, researcher, insurance, secretary..... what r u interested in? theres something for everyone All kinds, but my personal favorite is Occupational Therapist. You would get to work with patients hands on without all of the blood and dirty work. The therapists make really good money. Also physical therapist is a good one. Some other careers are radiology, phlebotomist-s.p., sonographers, social workers, teachers-health educators, hospital administrators, pharmacists, optometrists, so many to name- go to google and put in bls.gov and you can see so many more health careers or just google types of health careers.
