Im 26 back in 99 was 18 and i got caught shoplifting im trying 2 become a cna can i still get a job as a cna? |
I live in NY my teacher said that the FBI does a criminal backround check, and that im going to find it hard to get a job as a cna, i have not gotten in any trouble since 99, is there any cna or in the nursing feild that has something similiar happen to them? Do you remember what the Judge's instructions were regarding your record? In most cases there is no conviction recorded, especially for a first offense. yes you can get a job as a cna. They are looking for crimes against people or abuse. As long as you didn't steal from someone you were caring for they won't take issue with it. Isnt there like that whole record stuff? And if you have a criminal record its a lot harder getting to get into that particular area. They always check it, so maybe when they ask. "Do you have a criminal record", just be honest =] |
