How long do i have to wait before they let me know i got the job?

I had a job interview one week ago, for a nurse educator. it went for 90 minutes! I was extremely nervous and i felt like i didnt do that great. They said they would call me monday...havent heard. But they did call all 4 of my referee's. The job has been advertised for months with several unsuccessful applicants. Do i call them, or just wait and see?

I would give them a week before calling them. So maybe on this coming Monday, just give them a call and ask if they had filled the position or if they are still reviewing your application.

I know how frustrating it is to not get called when they say they are going to call...Nov '06 I did TWO interviews for a part time position at a retail store, and not only did that not call me, they mailed me a letter to tell me that I hadn't gotten the position.
