My husband's job is causing him to get sick what shoud we do and they cause other problems too.?

His job is so demanding. He is a Certified Nurse Aide he has to lift people all time and doing all the stuff he has do at job. He is alway on his feet. He recently got sick this weekend at his job and the doctor said he was very fatigued. His job also will not let him leave his job to be with me if I got sick had to go to the hospital. I would be by myself at the hospital. They said he could only drop me off at the hospital and go back to work. I do not think it is fair. I am a diabetic and I get sick sometime cause my blood sugar goes up or down sometimes. Alot of his coworkers are getting sick too at his job cause they work them to death. They are also taking money out his check for medical insurance but we do not have the cards yet. He works with this mean old woman and she does not want him to go down her hall. She sit on butt does not do her job. She is suppose to answer the residents call light and she does not. So my husband goes down her hall to answer the call lights.

Also she gets mad when he answers her calls. There so many rude people that work their. He is the most hardist worker their. He loves his residents so much.

He needs to change jobs, that part is obvious. Being a certified nurses aid can open the doors to other kinds of work. Has he thought about getting into disabilities....his qualifications as a nurses aid would hold him in good standing. In disabilites you have people who need personal care, but also people with intellectual disabilities and that is not as taxing on the body. Whatever the case, if your husband is getting sick and his managers are not very nice, then he really needs to be looking elsewhere for work. He obviously likes working in the helping field, so I think disabilities would be something he would probably enjoy.

A job is not worth your health and family comes first.
He needs to look into another job asap that is willing to give him the work life balance he needs.

Sounds to me like your husband may want to find either a new line of work or a new place of employment. You have to keep in mind that the medical field is a very demanding field and no matter where he goes he will probably face the same day to day challenges. I will keep you both in my prayers. Peace and God bless.
