Where does someone who doesnt have a green card and is practically homeless go to get a job? |
Is it even possible? i keep hearing that immigrants get so many jobs and they are taking jobs where do they find these jobs? in my country i was a nurse but my qualifications dont mean anything in america. where can i get a job? God, are you people ignorant. Asking didn't say anything about being here illegally, just that her nursing qualifications from another country are not accepted here. That's how it is. Many foreign degrees, especially in the medical field, are worth nothing here. And that makes you wonder how illegals get jobs when so many of us don't. The other things, you guys obviously really do hate immigrants, not matter if legal or illegal. Sit down and read your history books, that's what America is, a melting pot of immigrants from all different countries. Since its very beginnings. Even the Native Americans do not origin here in the country that is today the USA. Note to asker: There is no such thing as a 2nd or 3rd generation immigrant. If you were born in the United States, and your parents or grandparents happened to have legally immigrated here, then you are NOT an immigrant. Suggest you look up the definition of Immigrant in the dictionary. Report It They go back to el Cuidad de Me`xico Construction. get a green card If you are illegally here, turn yourself in and get deported back to your own country. go to the department of labor and look on their computer - you may need to take a new course here in america for nurseing if thats what you want to do - some places will train you for free but you have to work with them so long for " reimbursement " in your own country??? They hang out in front of Home Depot. What country are you from and what kind of visa do you have. If you are here legally you'll have a visa and it will tell whether you are eligible to work here. I assume you are not because you don't have a green card. Maybe you should consider going back where you came from. It depends on if you are a legal or illegal immigrant. Pick lettuce or go home. The legal immigrants have taken everything they can get their hands on as far as agriculture,factories,hotels,resturants,... You knew by coming here illegally you weren`t going to get anywhere unless you had somebody elses SS#-false documents. Continue to be a nurse where you could be needed-somewhere else-because you can`t even really be hired if your`e committing a crime. Backround checks are a must for healthcare workers. Your home country? The illegals were getting jobs that either didn't require paperwork (off the books grunt work) or they used fraudulent documents. you would fall into the category of someone needing fake paperwork but unfortunately for you there have been way to many doing this making it a big enough problem that we have now started to force employers to make sure all the paperwork is legal and are fining those that don't. How did you get into the U.S. without a green card but you have the qualifications of a nurse in your own country? And if you ARE a nurse in your own country, then why would you go where you're LESS marketable? YOU CAN'T WORK HERE because you were'nt given proper documentation to work here. Go back to where you came from. Just so you know too, the department of homeland security has made a new policy that enforces heavy fines for employers who hire illegal immigrants. With that said, no employer is willing to risk fines so you can work here when they can hire a citizen who is qualified for the job. Back to their home nations. Home. And then maybe come here LEGALLY? You go back to the country you slithered over here from. It would have helped if you let us know what state you were in right now. Go to :www.workintexas.com In your own country. This forum is not the "assistance to illegals" forum. |
