Am i stuck in a dead end job?

i've got a good job that pays well but i don't want to be there! i'd love to go into nursing but worried i'd be doing the wrong thing. Help?

FOLLOW YOUR HEART....I know of some who was in the same postion you are in now...you knw what he did? he sold his house and his car and cashed in on a policy and started his own business...he is so much happier today. Sometimes all you need is a bit of support and encouragement from people who love you, but it has to be something YOU want to do....

I wish you all the best of luck in your future plans...I'm sure you'll come to the right conclusion.

It looks that way.

if the job pays well, why would u wanna leave? but if thats not what u wanna do and u wanna go into nursing than go right ahead and go for it. good luck

no... go online do a free online course with a qualification at the end and get out of the job!!!

go ahead and get that degree. I bet you job pays for part of your school. Lots of places are looking for nurses so it's a great field to go into. And you could always do something else if you decide you don't like it. Plus you can try to get a job in a hospital. I work in the admitting department. it's a great step into that field.

how very ironic. I have been in nursing for many years and continue to be concerned that I'm in the wrong job.

Visit a nursing school and see what it is really like. If you are still interested either go part-time or take out a student loan and make your wish come true. Oh and by the way, it pays well, especially with overtime, and you can have great hours. Go for it.
