Anyone knows how I can get a job at a hospital in the detroit area>?

I start the nursing program in Sept and I would like to get a job at a hospital. It seems like you have to know someone to get in? any suggestions?

I KNOW RIGHT NOW HENRY FORD, HARPER HOSPITAL AND BEAUMONT ARE HIRING.. JUST GO TO THERE WEB SITE AND FILL OUT THE APPLICATION ONLINE... THAT IS THE ONLY WAY THERE DOING IT.. THEN ONCE U DO THAT WAIT A FEW DAYS AND THEN CALL THE HR TO SEE IF THEY HAVE RECIEVED UR APPLICATION THAT IS WHAT I DID AND I GOT A JOB AT HENRY FORD..

actually all you have to do is call the H.R. dept and they will assist you. Some hospitals make you go online to apply.
In either event informing them that you will be attending nursing school will be a great benefit.
