Dental hygiene vs nursing.?

I started my prerequisites and their good towards both these fields.Which one would be best? which one pays more?
which one is easier? which one would it be easier to get a job with? I like them both, but there's a waiting list for Nursing.
Even though i would love to work with small children.
Please help!

Dentistry. Nursing is killer hours, and horrible conditions. Do you want to give a 90 year old guy a bath?
No.

Dentistry is easier, pays about the same, and is more rewarding than nursing for these reasons:
People don't die infront of you/around you.
If you make a mistake, it's not fatal... unless it's some HUGE mistake... so there's less pressure.
The hours ARE better.
I'd suggest asking a dentist and a nurse about their jobs... you'll see.

You can always work with children in dentistry too.

I would choose a field in dentistry as being a nurse can cause you to have back problem from lifting patients and more

Dental Hygiene is easier but the pay is less and health insurance is up to the Dentist, and there's little room for advancement. If you want start with LPN. The nursing studies will take longer and be more rigorous but the pay is higher, the benefits better, and you can advance to RN or Nurse Practitioner and did you know that nurses don't pay into unemployment insurance because there is always work for nurses. There is actually a nursing shortage. Enough said?
