Nursing opportunities in san antonio texas?

want to relocate to texas need to know about jobs and how to transfer my nursing license

San Antonio is the medical center capital of Texas! In addition to jobs available at any one of the military base hospitals there are several large hospitals in the area, some fine teaching schools, and many opportunities for specialty nursing or agency work of all sorts.

The phone number and address for the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners can be found here: http://medi-smart.com/boards3.htm

Call them to get a license by endorsement packet-- unless you happen to live in a compact state in which case you won't need that even. They can advise you about that over the phone.

Just like every other state, there are plenty of job opportunities for nurses in San Antonio. You can check what's listed now or leave your resume on CareerBuilder here: http://medi-smart.com/medismartjobs.html

San Antonio is so gorgeous! Who wouldn't love the riverwalk? Be sure to go check out the outlet malls in San Marcos! Oh , there's no state tax in Texas either but property taxes are high which holds house prices down. All in all though it's a great place to live & work!

You must call the Texas Board of Nurses and be sponsered from the state that your acquired your original liscense. You should have no trouble finding a good job in Texas, though. Post your resume on monster.com and see what you can find.
