How should I answer "do you have any questions" on a job interview? |
I have a job interview in a little while for a nursing externship in the ICU - I really want this position - Ask this, "What can I do to convince you that I am the best candidate for this position?" Always have some questions prepared to ask in a job interview - it shows you have a genuine interest in the position and in the company and that you're someone who isn't just going to accept any job that someone might offer. Do your research ahead of your interview, and ask a question based on your research. Or ask them to clarify something that may have come up. But you must do your research. You don't have to ask unless you really have something to ask; and in that case you must ask it in a polite and clear manner. A few suggestions: When such a response arises, reply something like this: ask them what a typical day is likey to be like for you ask anything they don't tell you no matter how uncomfortable like hours pay benefits. If they go over all that and ask if you have any questions ask if they ever serve chocolate mousse for dessert =) being funny may make an impression "Why is the position open?" |
