To give an assessment of the child health,growth and development.

ensure all childrens needs are met including physical, emotional,social, intellectual and cultural needs, plan, implement and evaluate activities for children, keep records of childrens development, support any children with special needs, talking to parents about their children, making sure paperwork eg planning, profiles, food,sleep,nappy charts, are filled in, administer first aid and prescribed medicines if needed, be aware of child protection and food hygiene.
